A wedding as fun as Haley and Nick's deserves a different sort of sneak peek. Their day was as equally high energy as it was emotional (and tear-filled). I'm so stoked to share a little glimpse into their coastal celebration and can't wait to edit their longer films. Congrats, Haley and Nick!!
This weekend Susan and Andrew - two of the kindest and most genuinely compassionate people I've had the chance to work with - traveled to Maine from across the country with their friends and family to celebrate the next part of their relationship journey at the Boathouse in Belfast Maine.
Destinee and Kenny spent the hottest day of the year in Maine, completely in love - and glowing - as they married at the tree covered The Barn at Seven Elms. Just before the ceremony the entire town lost power, but these two took everything in stride, graciously and with laughter. Their incredible vendors rallied around them and by the time they walked down the aisle - thanks to some quick thinking and a generator, everything was taken care of.
Filming Kaleena and Rodney’s intimate ceremony on the coast of Maine was a happy surprise. Just a few weeks before they planned to travel from Texas to Maine to marry at Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, I connected with Kaleena and Rodney about filming their ceremony for friends and family back home to enjoy later on. On a warm Saturday in June, I showed up to the lighthouse where the ceremony was taking place and was completely floored by the beauty of the coast - the backdrop to their intimate celebration.
When Krista first reached out to me about capturing her and her fiancé Trent’s brunch wedding on the coast of Belfast, Maine, I knew immediately that theirs was a wedding I wanted to be a part of. They were planning an intimate family inclusive day to celebrate the joining of their two families - and Trent’s adorable kids, Emelia and Elliott were to play a big role in the day. Krista described their wedding vision as "CHILL, relax, brunch, bellinis, enjoying beautiful scenery, and enjoying our loved ones." Enough said, I was there! I admired their calm and relaxed approach to the entire wedding, and was immediately taken with their emphasis on family and connectedness.
As a wedding photographer and videographer, of my favorite parts of photographing and filming weddings is seeing the faces of two people right before they're pronounced newlyweds. Some couples cry, some laugh, and others smile big at one another. I can truly say that I've never seen such bright wide eyed joy on any couples face, before witnessing Emily and Jonathon's wedding on Sunday. Check out their sneak peek through photo and video!
Now that Charlie and Brittany are back from their incredible honeymoon, I'm so excited to share sneak peeks from their gorgeous Vesper Hill Children's Chapel ceremony and reception at the Elks Lodge in Rockland. The two have been together quite some time so you can imagine how excited they and their family and friends were to witness their relationship enter this new phase.
